more 28mm Romans and Numidians

Neil – one of my DBMM mentors -  is planning a to recreate a large roman civil war battle using the DBMM Rules. Most of the miniatures needed will be provided by Sir Tobi.

Have a closer look of the masses he has already painted:

To provide the remaining Miniatures needed for this game we desided to put our Armies together. So I`ve worked the last 3 Weeks every free evening to reach this goal. These are the Miniatures I`ve painted during this Time for our upcomming event:

That feels very comfortable to see, that nearly all of my purchased roman & Numidian miniatures are finally painted and ready to play.

To provide all the needed miniatures for this civil war szenario I`ve took the opportunity to paint all the Numidians I`ve collected over the last years.

Because I`m running out of roman Legionaries miniature I choose to depict the missing Blade elements with numidian Immitation Legionaries, built out of the Numidian Wargames Factory Box mixed with some really beautiful numidian Models from Crusader Miniature:

In front of the Immitation Legionaries you see the Numidian General and Light Horse Elements.

…the General is from Crusader Miniatures – the other Light Horses are from Gripping Beast and Warlord Games.

No Numidian Army without an Elefant, but unfortunately I don`t know the producer of this Miniature:

If you know the producer of this elefant, please leave a comment below – Thank you!

Here ist the scratch build Roman fortified Camp supplied with Warlord Games Camp Followers:

For the upcomming battle it`s OK – but when I look at the pictures I have to remove the old Stakes and build some new roman styled camp fortifications…

Now I looking forward to have an exiting gaming day and I promise to take my camera with me and shoot some pictures :-D
