Noch Water Effect

Last week I`ve purchased a bottle of Noch Water Effect.

I´m not really satisfied with the look of my water. It looks OK – but not stunning.

To test it, I´ve picked up some of my first 15mm celtic boats and try to learn how I have to work with the Noch Water effect.

It`s really easy to handle the bottle and get the liquid water effect to the right places on the base.

Just use an toothpick or an old brush to create the disired surface.

and after one day it looked like this:

This convinced me to rework all of my ships and boats.

A few years ago I`ve tried to get an similar effect with transparent acryl.

This can be a cheap alternative – but the acryl does not glue really good on the color and no connection of color/arcyl took place and finally it looked like this:

So Noch ist the better way for me to create an shiny, glossy wet  water effect on my miniatures.
